Looking at the calendar, it's pretty quiet for GBPUSD today. No major UK economic releases until tomorrow with the CPI data. The US side has some housing numbers but I don't see those moving the needle much for this pair. Honestly, with all the geopolitical noise, that's going to be the main driver, not some housing starts.

Yeah, so about those housing numbers - they're out. Pretty much in line, nothing to write home about. Just confirms my suspicion that the real action is all the geopolitical drama. That oil surge is still the main thing everyone's watching, and it's making the dollar look like a hot potato. I can already see the spread widening, classic move before a big news event. Brokers love that. Classic manipulation.
