Friday's close on GBPUSD wasn't great, it just kept drifting lower all day. I'm a bit worried about what happens when the market opens Monday. Will it gap down hard after that jobs data? My small long position is making me nervous already.

That US jobs data really spooked me. If the dollar is just going to keep getting stronger, GBPUSD could really fall off a cliff. I might just close my position before Monday even opens to be safe.

@graceking86 Understandable to be nervous before the open, especially with that US jobs data. However, the geopolitical tensions mentioned in the news might actually support safe havens like USD, but GBP has its own drivers. I'd wait to see how the initial price action unfolds Monday morning before making any rash decisions.
