Watching the Asian session here, gold is struggling below the 200 SMA on H4. The price action shows a clear liquidity grab around 4970 lows earlier. Looking for a retest of that 50 SMA around 5058 as resistance. RSI is still neutral but the trend is down.

Hi @C_Davis, interesting observation about the liquidity grab around 4970. I'm also watching the XAUUSD chart and agree that the price action looks a bit weak below the 200 SMA. That news about gold tumbling despite tensions is definitely weighing on it. The RSI is indeed neutral, but I'm a bit hesitant to go long at 5058 resistance. Might wait to see if it breaks through that or if we get another push lower. What's your plan if it fails to retest that 50 SMA?
