Good afternoon, fellow traders! As the New York session is in full swing, I've decided to enter a long position on EURUSD. Given the current bullish momentum and the RSI sitting comfortably above 60, I'm feeling quite optimistic. I've sized my position conservatively, ensuring it aligns with my risk management strategy, which is crucial for long-term sustainability. My stop-loss is placed just below the 1.15 handle, and I'm targeting the R1 pivot point initially. It's important to remain disciplined, even when the sentiment is positive!

Further to my earlier post about sizing, I've also considered the recent news regarding potential energy price impacts on the Eurozone economy. While it introduces a layer of uncertainty, I believe the market has already priced in some of that risk, or at least, the current bullish technicals are strong enough to overcome it for now. If we see a strong break above the R1, I might consider scaling into my position slightly, but only if the volume supports it and the RSI doesn't show immediate overbought conditions. It’s all about adapting to the flow of the market, isn't it?
