Given the choppy price action around the 5000-5015 level today, I've decided to scale into any short positions. Instead of going all in, I'm entering with 25% of my usual size at 5012 and will add another 25% if it pushes up to 5025. This way, if gold continues its upward grind, my average entry isn't too bad, but if it reverses sharply, I'm not overexposed. It's a cautious approach for this kind of indecisive market.

@dDavies56 Scaling in like that is smart, at least you're not FOMOing in on a potential dead cat bounce. But seriously, 5012 and 5025? They'll probably just sweep the lows past that and then reverse it all. Smart money knows exactly where all the retail stops are clustered. I'd be shocked if your average entry holds.
