This GBPUSD chart reminds me of the setup we had back in February. A steady climb followed by a period of consolidation around a key SMA. If it breaks above this 1.3435 level, we might see a similar push towards 1.3500. I am watching cautiously before placing any trades.

And I recall that the news cycle at that time was also relatively quiet... mostly speculation about the BoE's next move. This could be a similar situation where technicals drive the price action in the short term. I am not sure if i will hold it through the night though, need to sleep well.

Hi @cokoro994, that's a good observation about the February setup. I'm still pretty new to this, so I'm trying to learn from these patterns. I've got a position open near where you mentioned, around 1.3316, and I'm just hoping it doesn't get rekt overnight. The market feels so slow right now, it's hard to tell if anything is really happening. I'm not sure about that 1.3435 level holding if we do get some volatility. I tend to overthink things when it's this quiet, so I appreciate you sharing your cautious approach. Maybe I should just go to bed and check it in the morning...
