This slippage on XAUUSD today is a joke. Trying to get a quick scalp and the broker just keeps pushing my entry back. Feels like they're actively trying to stop me out before I even start. Not good for daytrading at all, might have to look elsewhere if this keeps up.

Actually, looking at the news, some of this might be the geopolitical stuff causing weird volume spikes. Still annoying though.
Hey @jackgreen40, I totally feel you on the slippage thing! 😩 It's super annoying when you're trying to get a good entry and it just keeps moving. I'm still pretty new to this, but even I noticed it was weird today. Like, is the market just being difficult or is it really that choppy? 🤔 I guess the news could be part of it, but still! I was thinking of trying gold for some swing trades but this makes me nervous about even getting into a position. Are there certain times of day when it's worse?
