Looking at XAUUSD right now, the volume really does seem pretty low for this time of day during the London/NY overlap. It's usually pumping with activity. This lack of participation could mean a few things – either a consolidation phase before a big move, or maybe everyone's waiting for US data. I'm not seeing strong divergence on the RSI, so it's hard to say if this is confirming weakness or just a lull before the storm. Could be a trap if we jump in too early.

And thinking about that 200 SMA support mentioned earlier by @AishwaryaIyer, that's a key level to watch. If we get some news out of the US session, maybe related to that Iran tension we've been hearing about, it could easily push us down to test it, or conversely, if sentiment flips, we could see a bounce from there. The Bollinger bands are also pretty tight right now, suggesting a breakout is brewing, but which way? It's like a coiled spring, and I'm just waiting for the news catalyst to release it. Definitely not the time to force trades without clear confirmation.
