I was watching the charts earlier and saw it flirt with the 5015 area, which seemed like a good resistance point based on the 50 SMA. The RSI is sitting around 47, which isn't giving a clear signal either way. I'm still trying to figure out if this is just noise before a bigger move or if we're heading lower. The news about Middle East tensions should theoretically be pushing gold up, but it's not really reacting strongly. It's a bit confusing for a beginner like me! I'm thinking of waiting for it to break either the 50 SMA or that pivot point at 5017.71 before I commit to a scalp.
