This GBPUSD closing below 1.33 on Friday is a bit concerning for me. I'm new to swing trading, so I'm just trying to figure out if we'll see a gap down on Monday morning. Maybe better to just sit out for a bit until things are clearer?

Yeah, I saw Chloe's comment about 2022 too. I wasn't trading then but it sounds rough. I'm just hoping this 1.3250 support level holds if it does dip. It’s hard to tell with all the news going on. Will be watching closely Monday.

Actually, thinking more about that gap open, it's kind of scary. What if it gaps down hard and my stop loss isn't hit properly? That's my biggest worry right now. This whole geopolitical thing is making me really nervous about holding positions over the weekend. I saw that oil news was crazy, wonder if that's gonna affect the pound. I think I'll just wait to see what happens on Monday before doing anything. Maybe it'll go up eventually, but the risk feels too high right now. NFA of course.
