Seriously, I learned a hard lesson last week with EURUSD. I thought I saw a pattern and jumped in long around 1.1820, feeling pretty confident. But then, BAM, news dropped about inflation and it just tanked like 80 pips overnight! My stop loss was way too tight and I got stopped out for a decent chunk of loss. I guess I was too eager to jump in and didn't respect the potential for sudden moves. Now I'm being way more cautious, waiting for clearer signals and wider stops. Gotta remember that even when it looks calm, things can change FAST.
