What are people's thoughts on the current oversold RSI for BTCUSD? It's currently at 17.5, which seems quite low. Is this a reliable indicator of a potential bounce, or could it stay oversold for an extended period given the strong bearish trend? I'm new to this and trying to understand how to interpret these signals effectively.

Hey @harryjones37, I think you might be looking at a different timeframe or settings for the RSI. My current data for BTCUSD on H4 shows RSI at 48.7, which is neutral, not oversold.

An oversold RSI (like your 17.5) can indicate a bounce, yes. But it's not a standalone signal. Always check for confluence with support levels, volume, and overall trend before taking a trade. Sometimes it can stay oversold for a while if momentum is strong.
