Anyone else concerned about the environmental impact of Bitcoin mining? I'm trying to balance potential gains with my ESG investing principles. Are there any more sustainable cryptocurrencies out there that still offer decent returns? I know some are exploring proof-of-stake mechanisms, but I'm not sure how secure they are long-term. Also, what are everyone's thoughts on companies investing heavily in BTC when it might conflict with their environmental goals? It feels like a bit of a contradiction to me. Maybe I should just stick with companies focused on renewable energy instead...
