Hi everyone. I'm trying to get better at reading charts for XAGUSD. What exactly are these "pivots" people talk about? Are they like support and resistance levels? How do you set them up? I'm still learning the basics here.

Hey @emilyjackson67, those pivots are basically calculated support and resistance levels based on previous price action, usually the high, low, and close of the prior day. They're good to watch, but don't treat them like gospel. The real action is when price *breaks* them with some displacement, especially if the spreads are this wide. That's when you know something's up.

I usually watch them, but they're just one tool. For XAGUSD, they can be quite useful for intraday scalps if you're quick.
