Whoa, US PPI spiked and oil's ripping. DXY is suddenly looking a bit bid again after that quiet session. Guess the safe-haven bid is back on the table. This quick move is wild.

Hmm, that PPI print really threw a spanner in the works. I was just watching DXY drift lower in the Sydney session, expecting more of the same. Now it's popped back above 100. Makes me rethink that small short idea @DavidReader was mentioning. Maybe it's a liquidity grab above the R1 pivot before it falls again? Or maybe this is the start of something bigger. Hard to say with this Asian liquidity. Gotta respect the RSI is screaming overbought though, so this surge might just be a final push before a reversal. NFA, just my thoughts.

This PPI spike and the subsequent DXY rebound are definitely something to watch for Monday. I'm thinking we might see a gap up on the DXY, especially with the situation in the Strait of Hormuz still a factor. Need to adjust my hedging strategy based on this. Will be monitoring the opening price closely.
