This USDJPY spread is killing me tonight. It's like 20 pips wide for no reason. I entered a small short position hoping to catch a quick dip, but the spread just ate up all my potential profit before I could even blink. Then when I wanted to exit, the slippage was insane. It felt like my broker was actively working against me. I'm seriously considering switching brokers if this keeps up. It's impossible to trade effectively when the costs are this high and unpredictable. Makes me wonder if they're widening spreads on purpose during these quieter hours.

Hey @amit386, I totally get what you mean about the spreads and slippage on USDJPY, it's been brutal lately. I experienced something similar on Friday afternoon too. It’s like the market makers widen them deliberately when volatility picks up. I was lucky to get out of a small long position before it got too bad, but the spread ate into my profits significantly. It makes swing trading overnight really risky if you can't rely on predictable execution. I’m going to be super careful about which brokers I use for JPY pairs going forward, especially with that Iran news potentially causing more gaps. Makes you really question if holding through the weekend is even worth it sometimes. 😩

Oh wow, @amit386, that sounds like a nightmare! Spreads that wide are insane. I'm glad I haven't had to deal with that yet, but it makes me a bit scared to trade USDJPY when the market is moving fast.

Hey @amit386, yeah that spread on USDJPY sounds brutal. I saw something similar on Friday too. It's like they're trying to catch traders out. Makes scalping almost impossible when your entry and exit are that far apart. Crazy how volatile it can get sometimes.
