Given that the market is closed, I am reviewing my XAUUSD positions and risk management strategy. With XAUUSD closing near 5280, it's tempting to hold through the weekend, but the overbought RSI makes me nervous. I am considering setting a tighter stop-loss order just below the pivot point of 5247.55 to protect profits in case of an unexpected reversal at the open. Does anyone else adjust their stop-loss orders over the weekend based on technical indicators? I'm also thinking about hedging my position with a small short position to mitigate potential downside risk during the weekend.

@smartin577 Good call on being cautious with the RSI. Weekend gaps can be brutal. I'd be inclined to tighten that stop-loss a bit more, maybe closer to 5255 just to be safe.
