Yeah, and that daily loss limit is so important. I learned that the hard way. You get one bad trade, then you try to chase it back, and suddenly you're down 5% in an hour. It's a recipe for disaster. Sticking to that 1% rule and cutting losses fast means you live to trade another day. Sometimes I even set an alert for myself, like a reminder, to just step away if things get too emotional. Like right now, seeing the dollar potentially getting stronger due to that oil surge makes me want to close my existing long, but I'll stick to my pre-set stop loss. No impulsive decisions.
