This quiet Sydney session is making me sleepy lol. XAUUSD has been choppy around that 4400 level. My initial plan was to short this break of the S1 pivot point at 4346, but it just hasn't had the legs to go anywhere substantial. I've moved my stop loss to breakeven now, which is the safest bet when liquidity is this thin and price action is unclear. No point giving back unrealized profits if the market decides to reverse overnight. I'm just going to monitor it passively. If it breaks below the Bollinger band support around 4349, I might reconsider, but for now, risk-free is the way to go. Patience is key, especially when you're only trading a few hours a day like me.
