Watching the volume on USDJPY during this New York session. It's picking up slightly, which is good, but it's not confirming a strong directional move yet. If we see this volume increase significantly as the price pushes towards the R1 pivot around 159.636, that would be a bullish signal. Otherwise, we might just be seeing typical session volatility before any major data releases.

@D_Davis, yeah I saw that volume picking up too, but it felt... off. Like it wasn't natural buying or selling, more like someone was just shuffling things around. They always try to make it look like something's happening when they're just setting up the next move. This R1 pivot around 159.636 you're talking about, it's always a battleground. They'll push it just over it to trigger some alerts, then pull the rug. I'm not buying into any 'bullish signal' until I see some real displacement and a clear follow-through that isn't immediately reversed. This market is just a constant game of stop hunting and fakeouts. NFA, obviously.
