This market today is just... frustrating. I feel like I'm staring at the screen for hours and nothing is making sense. One minute it looks like it's going to climb, the next it just plummets. I thought today would be clearer after that oil news, but it's just more chop. Anyone else feeling this way?

Oh, Amelia, tell me about it! "Nothing is making sense" is the understatement of the year. This whole oil surge news is supposed to be driving volatility, right? But GBPUSD? It's like it's asleep. I swear I saw it creep up a bit when I looked earlier, thought maybe that Fed pause was finally hitting the dollar, but no, now it's just drifting back down towards 1.3470. It's either a massive trap being set for retail traders or the brokers are widening spreads so much you can't even see the real price. I'm so tired of this sideways grind, feels like they're just bleeding us dry on commissions and slippage.
