Been burned too many times chasing breakouts on XAUUSD. Now I wait for a confirmed retest of the broken level before entering. Patience is key, especially with the fakeouts we've been seeing lately. Smart money is playing games, gotta be smarter.

Oh and also, the oil surge news is definitely adding to the uncertainty. Gold is acting weird because of it. Might stay out till things calm down.

@msmith904 Totally agree with you, Michael. I've been faked out on gold so many times it's not even funny. 😂 The oil news is throwing a wrench in everything, too. I'm thinking of just sitting on the sidelines until the volatility dies down. Maybe binge-watch Netflix instead? 🤷♀️
