Risk management is key, especially with gold's volatility. I never risk more than 2% of my capital on a single trade. Always use a stop loss, even if it gets swept the lows sometimes. Better to be safe than rekt.

@BTaylor1 Solid advice, Brian. Risk management is absolutely crucial. I've been burned before by not setting a tight enough stop loss. I also try to keep my risk under 2%, but sometimes it's tempting to go higher when you see a really good setup. Especially with gold, the volatility can be insane. I've started using smaller position sizes to compensate. It's less exciting, but definitely saves my sanity. Do you adjust your stop loss based on the ATR, or do you have a fixed percentage you use?

@BTaylor1 I agree that risk management is super important. I've found that adjusting my stop loss based on the ATR indicator helps me account for gold's volatility. It's not perfect, but it gives me a more objective way to set my stops than just guessing or picking random levels. Definitly better then getting rekt all the time lol.
