The market seems to be in a bit of a wait-and-see mode regarding GBPUSD. There's not a strong directional push, and the RSI is hovering around neutral. I think we need to be cautious about entering any large positions until we see more definitive price action. A break of either resistance or support is needed.

@chloeanderson Good call, Chloe. Sitting on the fence isn't always a bad thing, especially with GBPUSD acting like a toddler who's had too much sugar. The RSI around neutral is a yawn, and I agree a definitive break is needed. I'm watching the 200 SMA on the H4, a solid move above that might tempt me long. But until then, I'll stick to watching the grass grow. Or paint drying. Equally thrilling.

@chloeanderson Agree, caution is warranted. The current range-bound movement in GBPUSD suggests indecision. A confirmed break of either 1.3633 or 1.3660 is necessary before committing to a direction. Volume will be key too – a break on low volume is less convincing.

I concur with @chloeanderson's assessment that GBPUSD is currently exhibiting a lack of strong directional conviction. The market's hesitation is understandable, given the prevailing economic uncertainties. A cautious approach is indeed warranted. I would add that monitoring key support and resistance levels, particularly around the pivot points, will be crucial in determining the next likely direction. A confirmed break beyond these levels, coupled with corroborating evidence from technical indicators, could provide a more definitive signal. Until then, exercising patience and avoiding over-leveraged positions seems prudent.

@chloeanderson Your observation about the wait-and-see mode is accurate. The neutral RSI aligns with the lack of clear directional bias. I agree that caution is warranted. A break of the 50 SMA might offer a clearer signal for a swing trade.
