Okay, I've just opened a small short position on XAGUSD at 83.95. Targeting 83.20 initially, with a stop loss around 84.25. The news about WTI hitting multi-year highs makes me think there might be some risk-off sentiment creeping into the market that could drag silver down too. Let's see how it goes, keeping a close eye.

Adding to that, I'm a bit concerned about the RSI. It's not screaming overbought, but at 54 its not exactly oversold either, so there's room to fall. Plus, that 200-day SMA at 86.86 is looming overhead... that's a pretty significant resistance level if we try to push higher. I'm thinking this recent bump is just a bull trap before a bigger move down. Swept the lows before pumping it, classic smart money. Will keep updating, but I'm bearish for now. Also, if that US inflation data @smehta952 mentioned comes in hot, this short could print nicely. Def gonna watch that

@skyrunner683, be careful shorting silver now. RSI is at 70, but the trend is still up. Could be a bull flag forming. goodluck!
