Just closed my short on DXY around 99.20. It was a small win, only about 15 pips, but better than nothing in this choppy Sydney session. I was hoping it would sweep those lows near 99.10 like some charts were suggesting, but it just seems stuck. NFA, just sharing my trade.

Actually, I think that Iran news might be doing more than people realize to keep DXY from really falling off. It's like a floor is forming under it, even if it's not moving much.

@stephanie4214 yeah, that jobs report definitely changed the tune for the dollar Friday afternoon. I saw DXY push up quite a bit from the lows after it. Iran news might be a factor, but the NFP data was the big driver for me.

@stephanie4214 I hear you on the choppiness. That Iran news does seem to be creating a bit of a bid under DXY, even if it's not making big moves. The R1 pivot at 99.68 is holding for now, which is something.
