My approach to risk management is quite conservative, especially with overnight risk. I always aim to keep my total exposure at a level where a single bad trade won't significantly impact my overall capital. For USDJPY, given its potential for sharp moves, I'm generally looking to close out most positions before the market closes for the day. If I must hold something, I'll ensure my stop-loss is set to be risk-free, meaning it's moved to my entry point or better. I also don't let any single trade represent more than 1% of my account balance. It's about surviving to trade another day, not hitting home runs every time. This patience is key, I think, to long-term success in forex.
