Weekend thoughts on strategy for DXY next week. Given how it ended last week, sitting right on that 50-day SMA around 99.39, I'm not super aggressive either way. The geopolitical tensions could push it up, but the reports questioning its safe-haven status are also a concern. For Monday, I'm planning to wait for the open and see if we get a decisive move. If it breaks above R1 at 99.31 convincingly with volume, I might consider a small long targeting R2 at 99.38. Conversely, if it dips below P at 99.23 and holds the S1 at 99.15, that could be a scalp short opportunity. But honestly, I might just sit it out the first hour or two and see how the price action develops. Definitely don't want to get caught in an early reversal or a fake breakout. Need to respect the current indecision.
