Man, these spreads on USDJPY right now are just wild. I tried to get a small scalp in during the NY open, and the slippage was brutal. Felt like I was paying a premium just to get in and out. Really eats into potential profits, makes it tough to even play short-term moves.

Yeah, and the fact that oil prices are going crazy with this Middle East stuff... that's probably weighing on the dollar too. Makes it hard to predict what the yen will do.
