This whole week has been crazy with gold. I noticed some bearish engulfing patterns on the 4-hour chart a couple of days ago, and it looks like sellers have just kept pushing since then. Every time it tries to creep up a bit, it gets smacked back down hard. It feels like smart money is really pushing this lower, maybe to grab some liquidity before a bigger move? Or maybe it's just the market reacting to all the talk about inflation and interest rates. Hard to say for sure, but it's definitely not a good time to be long right now.
