This reminds me a bit of back in '08, when everyone was running scared. I know it's not the same situation exactly, but the feeling of uncertainty is similar. Folks are looking for a safe haven, and while the pound isn't exactly gold, it tends to hold its value relatively well. I wonder if we'll see a similar flight to safety play out here.

Just thinking out loud here, but if that '08 pattern holds, we might see a dip before any significant rebound. Could be a good opportunity to buy low if you're patient. Just my two cents, not financial advice of course!
