XAGUSD is certainly in a critical phase. The price is hovering around the median Bollinger Band and below the 50-day SMA, which currently sits at 88.67. With RSI at 44.1, the market lacks clear directional momentum, suggesting a period of consolidation. We need to see a decisive move past either the R1 pivot at 90.07 or below the S1 pivot at 88.00 to establish a new short-term trend.

Update on my earlier observation: While the Bollinger Bands are somewhat tight, indicating potential for a volatility expansion, the current price action is respecting the pivot levels. A sustained break below 88.00 could open the door towards the S2 pivot at 86.69. Conversely, reclaiming the 50-day SMA and pushing towards 90.07 would negate the immediate bearish pressure.
