EURUSD appears to be consolidating around the pivot point (1.18746). The RSI(14) is currently at 54, which is fairly neutral. I'm wondering if a breakout is likely soon, or if we'll see more sideways movement. What are others observing regarding the Bollinger Bands?

Update: Looking at the 20 and 50 SMAs, they are very close together, suggesting limited short-term momentum. I'm also noticing that the price is hovering just below the upper Bollinger Band. Could this signal a potential short opportunity if it fails to break through?

@samuel4001, regarding your question about the Bollinger Bands, I'm seeing the price action testing the lower band right now. Given the current momentum, a break below that lower band (around 1.159) could signal a further decline. However, be cautious of a potential bounce if the price fails to sustain below that level. The RSI is still below 50, supporting the bearish outlook, but it's not yet oversold. Watch for divergence as a potential reversal signal. Overall, I'd wait for more confirmation before making any decisive moves.
