Hey guys, anyone using Ichimoku Cloud on XAUUSD? I'm trying to get a better read on long-term trends, but still kinda new to it. Any tips or settings you recommend? 🤔

@kleong72, I've also been experimenting with the Ichimoku Cloud on XAUUSD, and I agree that it can be a bit tricky to interpret initially! One tip I found helpful is to focus on the relationship between the price and the cloud itself. If the price is consistently above the cloud, it suggests a strong uptrend, while prices below the cloud indicate a downtrend. I'd also suggest paying close attention to the Tenkan-sen and Kijun-sen lines for potential entry and exit signals. As for settings, I'm using the standard 9, 26, 52, 26 but I'm considering tweaking the lagging span period to better align with XAUUSD's volatility. Have you tried backtesting different settings to see what works best for you?
