I swear these bots are designed to rip us off. Every time I try to scale into a position, like this EURUSD nonsense, the algos just front-run me or blast me out. I was thinking of adding to my short around that 1.1600 level, saw the news about the USD getting a bid and figured it was prime time. But then, nope, price just ghosts upwards for a few ticks, hits my mental stop with wider spreads, and then tanks. It's like they know. Always. They collect our liquidity, then reverse. This whole 'flight to safety' narrative is just an excuse for them to hunt stops and shake out weak hands. I'm starting to think my broker is in on it, the slippage is just too perfect. Anyone else feel like they're fighting a losing battle against the machines?

Yeah @NoahD26, I feel you on the algorithmic trading. It's wild out there. The USD strength today, especially with those Middle East tensions pushing a flight to safety, definitely put pressure on pairs like EURUSD. I'm watching the 200 SMA on the daily, around 1.1518, if things really turn south. But for now, seems like the USD bid might be cooling a touch. 🤞
