Just closed my short position on XAUUSD around 4650. Took a decent profit after that initial dip this morning. Seems the geopolitical headlines are really keeping the pressure on, which aligns with my technical view on the bearish divergence from yesterday. Back to watching the charts.

Also, forgot to mention, I'm keeping an eye on the S2 pivot at 4634.65. If we break below that with conviction after this current consolidation, it could signal further downside pressure, especially with the bearish sentiment from the news. Just a thought to add to the trade plan.
