What a week for XAUUSD! Friday's action was intense. Saw that big bearish candle form and honestly, I was a bit surprised. I'd been leaning bullish, thinking we'd see a push towards 4550 maybe, but this reversal makes me rethink. The news about mining projects is interesting, could add some fuel to gold if they get traction. But that Yen strength talk is a headwind for USD generally, which should be good for gold. Still, that Friday close makes me nervous about Monday. Might have to avoid trading first thing and see if the dust settles. Last week I made some decent pips on a swing, so feeling okay, but definitely need to be careful not to get caught on the wrong side of a gap.
