My main rule is not to overtrade. This market is too volatile to just jump in without a solid plan. I always set my stop loss before I even enter a trade, usually about 0.5% of my account size. If a trade goes against me and hits that stop, I just walk away. No revenge trading. The most important thing is capital preservation. You can always catch the next move if you're still in the game. I'm also learning to respect FVG zones more, they seem to act as magnets sometimes.
