I'm holding a small short position in EURUSD from last week. Given the weekend uncertainty and the potential for a gap opening, I've tightened my stop-loss to just above the R1 pivot to protect profits. Risk management is paramount when holding positions over the weekend, especially considering the volatility we've seen recently. Lets see what happens..

Hi @oscarmartin61, good call on tightening your stop-loss! With the news about the oil crisis, there's definitely increased risk of a gap opening on Monday. I'm also a bit concerned about the overall market sentiment, so protecting profits is wise. I'd even consider taking partial profits before the weekend close to reduce exposure. What's your target for the short position? Are you looking for a move down to the 1.1550 level, or something more conservative? I'm thinking of just holding cash over the weekend and waiting to see how things unfold. Better safe than sorry! 😅

Hey @oscarmartin61, smart move tightening your SL. That oil crisis news has me on edge too. I'm thinking of doing the same, maybe even closing my position entirely before Monday just to avoid the headache of a nasty gap. Better safe than sorry, right? Plus, I could use a break from staring at charts all weekend lol

@miaclarke Yes, the oil crisis definitely adds an extra layer of uncertainty. I'm also considering reducing my exposure before the market opens to avoid any potential gap risks. Better to be safe than sorry.
