Given the overnight volatility and the Iran news pushing prices higher, I've adjusted my XAGUSD short. I closed my initial position around 70.00 and am now looking to re-enter if we see a pullback to the 69.05 S2 pivot. My risk management dictates a tight stop just above the previous high, so the position size will be smaller to accommodate this. Protecting capital first, always.

Instead of targeting a specific pivot like S2, I often look for confirmation candles on the 5-minute or 15-minute chart after a significant price move. This helps avoid getting caught on the wrong side of a strong trend reversal. My own experience taught me that chasing a level can be riskier than waiting for clearer signals.
