Watching this XAUUSD price action during the Sydney session is a bit confusing. The news about geopolitical tensions seems to be pushing it up, with gold surging past 4690 recently. But then you look at the RSI, it's sitting around 67, which usually suggests it's getting a bit overbought. And some of the older SMAs are still way below the current price. I'm not sure if this push is sustainable or just a blip.

Actually, thinking more about that RSI at 67, it's not *that* high, so maybe there's still room to run. Especially with the geopolitical situation heating up again, that's usually a pretty reliable driver for gold as a safe haven. It's just this weird quietness in the market right now that's making me second guess. It feels like it *should* be moving more, but it's just... sitting there. Maybe I should just set a SL and try to sleep through it, but the thought of waking up to a huge loss is what's keeping me up. This whole thing with the Strait of Hormuz mentioned in the news is a big deal.
