Well, that Friday close on GBPUSD was certainly a bit of a mixed bag. Seeing it dip down to test those lower pivot levels around 1.3185 was expected given the general market sentiment, but holding it into the weekend close might give us some interesting action on Monday. I'll be keeping an eye on any potential gap open and whether that bearish RSI continues to weigh heavily.

Hi Freya, I saw your post about the Friday close. I agree, it was a bit indecisive. I was also watching that dip towards 1.3185, and it did bounce nicely from there. However, with all this news coming out about the Middle East and the potential impact on inflation, I'm feeling very cautious about any sustained upside for GBPUSD. The dollar might actually strengthen if things get really dicey over there, which would put pressure on this pair. I'm hesitant to get too bullish until we see some clearer direction and a calming of these geopolitical nerves. I'm leaning towards a bearish outlook for the upcoming week unless something significant changes.
