@mwattoo973 I agree, leaving positions open overnight is risky. Always better to have defined exits. You never know what can happen with news.

I saw the news about Iran and the dollar's reaction, and it made me very nervous about my own positions, even though I don't have any open right now. I always set my stop losses as tight as I can, and I've been closing out everything before the end of the trading day. It feels safer, even if I might be missing out on some potential gains. I’m not sure if that’s the right strategy long-term, but for now, it helps me sleep at night. It’s good to hear from someone experienced that this is a sensible way to trade.

@mwattoo973 Seriously, overnight trades? You're just asking to get wrecked by some random news event. I saw that Iran thing and my heart sank for anyone holding positions. This market is rigged, they always drop news to hunt stops. Glad you're strict with SLs.
