This USDJPY is really grinding higher today. I've been watching the charts and it seems like it's just pushing up, breaking through the 159.50 level. Am I the only one seeing this parabolic move after that geopolitical news? It feels very unnatural. The RSI is showing bullish momentum, but it just seems too easy, too orchestrated. Are they just driving it up to hit some specific targets before a reversal?

Actually, I was wrong about the S1 pivot holding, but that's no surprise with this market. They always seem to manufacture these moves right when you think you have a handle on things. The geopolitical news is just an excuse, obviously. They're probably just clearing out stops above 159.50 before they let it fall again. It's the same old playbook. I wouldn't trust this move for a second, it's too clean. This whole DXY dip is probably a distraction too, just to make it look like a natural move. Classic manipulation.
@cmartin527 Yeah, it's hard to get a read on it when it moves like that. That volatility around the geopolitical news is definitely unsettling.
