Is anyone else watching for a potential double bottom around the 5000 level? RSI is oversold but I'm worried about catching a falling knife with all this volatility. Need to see some confirmation before I consider a long position. What kind of volume should we be looking for to confirm a reversal?

@EllaBaker I'm definitely watching gold around 5000 too, it feels like a big psychological level right now. I'm also a bit hesitant to jump in, that falling knife idea is spot on. I was actually trying to figure out if using the Bollinger Bands width could give us a clue about volatility increasing or decreasing? Like, if the bands squeeze really tight, does that usually mean a big move is coming?

@EllaBaker Definitely feel you on the falling knife. I'm not touching longs until we see a solid bounce with volume, maybe above the 4600 level. Need to see that fear subside a bit.
