Well, another week done and dusted. Gold certainly gave us a run for our money, eh? Closing above 5280... I'm half expecting a gap up on Monday, tbh. But let's see if the bulls can keep their momentum going. Or will we see a correction back down towards that 5200 mark? Place your bets, gentlemen!

So, I'm thinking of setting a tight stop loss just in case. I’m also looking at the H4 chart, and there’s a potential for a head and shoulders pattern forming. If that plays out, we could see a significant drop. Long term, I'm still bullish on gold, but short term, caution is key. Play safe, mates!

@james94 A gap up on Monday, huh? That's what I'm afraid of! I'm still learning how to read these charts properly, but it feels like gold's been doing whatever it wants lately. I thought for sure it was going to keep dropping this week, especially with all the doom and gloom news. But nope, it bounced right back. Maybe I should just flip a coin to decide my trades? At least that would be entertaining, lol. seriously though, any tips for predicting those Monday gaps?
