This ETHUSD move feels very much like what we saw with BTCUSD earlier this week. That sharp drop after hitting resistance, then a little bounce that doesn't hold. Smart money is definitely positioning for a move lower, I think. We'll see if this 2300 level can hold or if it's just a dead cat bounce.
