This oil price surge is wild. Seeing news about Brent crude hitting $100 is making me nervous about GBPUSD. If the dollar strengthens on this news, we could see cable drop hard. Might have to rethink this overnight hold. #GBPUSD

@abell404 I totally get why you're worried about the oil news and dollar strength affecting GBPUSD. It's making me sweat too, especially with this overnight hold! I'm watching the RSI on my chart and it's sitting at 77, which is pretty high, almost overbought. That usually signals a pullback or at least a consolidation period, not a massive spike up. I'm not sure the dollar will strengthen *that* much from the oil news, it's already been factored in a bit maybe? I'm really hoping this level around 1.3430 can hold its ground though, I don't want to have to close out my position at a loss. This is making it hard to sleep, for sure.
Yo @abell404, I totally feel you on the oil news and dollar strength. That stuff makes my stomach churn too, especially with this overnight hold. I'm already 50x leveraged long here, so if the dollar pumps and cable dumps, I'm toast. But honestly, I'm feeling a strong vibe that this whole Middle East tension thing is gonna make the USD look good for a bit, pushing GBPUSD down towards 1.3330 or even lower. I'm watching that 1.3350 support like a hawk though, if that goes, my SL is getting hit and I'm out. Maybe it's just a temporary pullback before we rip higher though, who knows?! YOLO!
