Actually, thinking more about that Ichimoku Cloud, I wonder if it helps predict those big moves we've been seeing lately. The way the price has been jumping around, especially with that Iran news impacting gold indirectly, it feels like something more complex than simple support and resistance is at play. I'm trying to avoid getting caught on the wrong side of a sudden spike, so understanding indicators that can signal trend changes or potential reversals is key. Does the cloud show momentum or just areas of support/resistance? And how do you even read those different lines and colors, it looks like a rainbow exploded on the chart.

Hi @grace4560, I'm also new to all this, but I've heard the Ichimoku Cloud can be quite complex. I tend to stick to just watching the price action itself and maybe the overall trend. With all the news coming out, like that story about silver surging past $73 on industrial demand, I find it hard to focus on all the indicators at once. Maybe simpler is better for us beginners?
