I'm a bit nervous about a gap opening on Monday tbh. Gold's been so volatile lately! I'm holding a small long position over the weekend, and I'm hoping it doesn't gap down too much. I've set a stop loss just in case, but still, those gaps can be scary. Anyone else worried about this? Or am I just being overly cautious? I'm still quite new to all this, so any advice is welcome! Maybe I should close the position before the weekend next time?

@graceparker18, I hear you on the gap worries! It's always a bit nerve-wracking holding over the weekend, especially with gold's recent volatility. Gaps can definitely throw a wrench in things. One thing I've learned is to consider the longer-term trend. Are we still in an uptrend on the daily chart? If so, a small gap down might just be a temporary setback. Also, make sure your stop loss is placed at a level that makes sense technically, not just based on fear. Sometimes, a wider stop can save you from getting stopped out prematurely.
